CDC Eviction From Its HQ Underway: Police Enforcing Court Order–A Pictorial

The Liberia National Police earlier today, Saturday, August 23, 2025 begun flexing its muscles by enforcing  an order from the Civil Law Court at the Temple of Justice to evict the Congress for Democrtic Change (CDC) of former President George Manneh Weah from its Congo Town headquarter after the CDC lost a court case.

This news outlet has not been able to confirm whether the threat of physical resistance was effected.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page today, Friday, the LNP said:

“The Liberia National Police (LNP) informed the public that due to the enforcement of a court eviction order, traffic will be diverted in Monrovia on Saturday, August 23, 2025.”
