Youngster Sando Kromah continued her outstanding form by extending her home-run tally to 10, playing a decisive role as Surprise KC secured back-to-back victories to collect a perfect six points from two matches.
The impressive achievement makes Surprise KC the first club to earn maximum points since the start of the second phase of the Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF) Margibi Sub-Association Second Division League.
The two victories lifted the club to the top of the league standings with 21 points from 10 matches, having recorded seven wins and three draws, with Kromah once again proving to be the driving force behind the team’s success.

Kromah’s lone home run during the weekend fixtures proved decisive, helping Surprise KC defeat league leaders United Angels KC before overcoming Mighty Power KC to complete a perfect weekend.
Saturday Results
Action resumed on Saturday, June 27, at the 14th Road Sports Pitch in Kakata, as the race for the 2025/2026 LKF-Margibi Sub-Association Second Division title intensified.
In the opening match, Dream Girls KC stunned God’s Favor KC with a convincing 4-0 victory.
The biggest upset of the day came in the second fixture when Surprise KC defeated league leaders United Angels KC 1-0. The result saw United Angels drop to third place while Surprise KC moved to the top of the league standings.
In the third game, defending champions Fuamah Girls KC were held to a scoreless draw by underdogs Kamara KC.
The day’s final fixture saw Mighty Power KC edge Future Girls KC 4-3 in a thrilling encounter, completing a second consecutive victory over Future Girls in the league.
Sunday Results
The competition continued on Sunday, June 28, at the same venue.
Surprise KC maintained their perfect start to the second phase with another 1-0 victory, this time over Mighty Power KC. Once again, Sando Kromah delivered the decisive home run, extending her season tally to 10, making her the club’s leading home-run scorer in the competition.
In another fixture, defending champions Fuamah Girls KC comfortably defeated Future Girls KC 3-0.
Meanwhile, United Angels KC and Dream Girls KC played to a scoreless draw.
In the day’s final match, God’s Favor KC defeated Vision Sister KC 2-0 to keep their championship hopes alive, as well as their chances of securing a place in the 2026 National Playoffs, scheduled for August in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
Weekend Summary
Following the weekend’s results, Surprise KC became the first team to win two consecutive matches since the beginning of the second phase of the league.
On the other hand, Future Girls KC became the first club to suffer back-to-back defeats during the second phase.
The league will now take a short break and is expected to resume early July.
Knockout Championship Final Confirmed
In a related development, Surprise KC and Kamara KC have booked their places in the grand final of the 2025/2026 Liberia Kickball Federation Margibi Sub-Association Knockout Championship.
Surprise KC secured their place after defeating Mighty Power KC, while Kamara KC earned a historic first-ever appearance in the final by overcoming Vision Sister KC.
Kamara KC’s qualification marks the club’s first appearance in the Knockout Championship final since its establishment under the auspices of the LKF Margibi Sub-Association, setting up an exciting showdown with Surprise KC in the season’s grand finale.
