They Are Said To Use Multiple Names In Their Crime Business

TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia-A notorious alleged armed robber and rape defendant who use many names in the commission of his dubious acts, George Wade alias Kelvin Santo, have been rearrested and are now back in jail.
Both men were arrested on Tuesday 17th December 2024 on orders of the Monrovia City Court for an alleged armed robbery, theft of property, and sexual assault against two young women, is back again in jail committed at the Monrovia Central Prison.
In violation of section 14.77 and 15.32 of the New Penal Law of Liberia, the writ stated that the private prosecutrix of the City of Monrovia, by and thru the Republic of Liberia appears before this Honorable court and complained on the oath of you the within named defendant of the city of Monrovia and says that you the defendant did there and then, by means of pistol gun took and stole and carried away from the private prosecutrix her personal belongings to include 15 gram of gold bracelet, 19.5 gold ring, 10.5 gram nuckle totaling US$21,051.00 plus L5,000.
The writ issued by the Monrovia City Court reads, you are hereby commanded to arrest the living body of defendant George Wade alias Kelvin Sonta and forthwith bring before the Monrovia City court at the Temple of Justice Montserrado County to answer to the charges of Armed Robbery and sexual assault based upon the oath and complaint of the Republic of Liberia by and thru the
plaintiff in which it is substantially alleged as follows to writ:
The alleged act of the defendant being criminal, illegal and unconstitutional, the crime mentioned above defendant did do and commit.
One his popular names are Jack Nicholas Davis, Defendant Wade was previously acquitted in April this year of one of his previous charges (armed robbery) levied against him at the Criminal Court D. Judge Mamietta Jabateh-Sireleaf rendered a not guilty verdict against the defendant accordingly because of the state prosecutors’ failure to establish a prima facie or produce sufficient evidence (the allege robbery weapon), even though there were multiple witnesses who testified to the allegedcriminal acts by the defendant.
At the time of the acquittal from charges of armed robbery, the defendant was also indicted for the crime of rape, and had made his first appearance in court. However, the defendant was release on bail by Her Honor Serena F. Garlawulo. Resident Circuit Judge. Criminal Court “E” and has since been out of prison in the community.
The defendant, since his release on bail is said to have continue in the same acts that landed him with multiple criminal charges both at the Magisterial and Circuit Courts, allegedly coercing, manipulating and sexually abusing and robbing young women.
According to one of the lawyers for private prosecutirx, Atty. Facia B. Harris, many young women have been explaining their accounts of their experiences with the defendants describing his acts as vicious, ruthless callous and very notorious. Atty. Harris said as the legal proceedings unfold, it is understandable that the young women may face a range of emotions-fear, uncertainty, anger and hope, “We acknowledge the strength it takes to participate in this process, and we want them to know that they are not alone, and we also recognize that that the legal system can be difficult to navigate and that there are moments of frustration or doubt. Please remember that your vice matters and speaking your truth is a powerful act, and it is essential in the quest for justice and accountability”, she added.
It can be recorded that, the Liberian National Police (LNP) charged and forwarded to court suspect George B. Wade, alias Nicolas Jack Davis, with multiple charges.
Addressing a major press conference Wednesday, 3 April 2023, former Police Spokesperson Moses Carter said the LNP concluded a full-scale investigation with the accused, narrating that “the situation is currently causing injuries for the victims, both physical and psychological”. According to Mr. carter, most times the accused threatened to kill his them.
“Suspect Davies usually threatens the victim(s), causing serious bodily harm or death while unlawfully restraining his victim(s) at unspecified locations where he subjects them to involuntary servitude,” Carter said.
Speaking to a young woman – name withheld, who also have said to have falling prey to the cunning scammer, he has a been communicating with multiple young women at different times claiming to live in the United States, and after luring them to believing him, he get rude, makings demanding threatening systems, claiming to be untouchable. And that she prays and wishes that there will justice for all the women who have been robbed and abused by the defendant, lamenting that “this is too much”.
