MONROVIA, (LINA)- Liberian Educator and Missions Director of World Wide Mission School System Liberia Chapter, Reuben Fiamahn has extolled parents and guardians for contributing to the education system, despite other financial circumstances they face in supporting their children’s educational journey.
Director Reuben Fiamahn who is the Principal of World Wide Missions School System on Newport Street delivered a special statement to students, parents and guardians during the 56th closing and honouring program at the institution, has commended parents and guidance for being steadfast, courageous and financially responsible for their pupils’ academic growth in Liberia.
The Liberian Educator further expressed his profound gratitude to the parents who used their meagre resources to pay their children’s tuition and fees played a cardinal role in promoting the academic sector of the institution and Liberia at large as he describes the mothers and fathers as champions of the student’s success.
“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone that we are all here today to witness and participate in this auspicious occasion as our children display awesome performances to dramatize something positively to us which speaks volume of how we have put time into moulding the minds of the children through the quality of their conduct and intelligence,” Mr. Fiahman added.
He mentioned that with the financial support from parents and the energetic and potential teaching as well as support staff, they were able to break all odds to make sure the students are prepared and better for the future which he describes as another way of contributing to the educational sector of Liberia.
Director Fiamahn at the same time hails the founder of World Wide Missions, Rev. Dr. Abba G. Karnga for the foundation of the institution under three pillars, Education, Religion and Agriculture, and these institutions within the mission, especially the education sector is making meaningful contributions.
This, he said is also buttressing government effort by providing quality education, moral values and discipline for the young generation.
For her part, delivering a special statement as validator, Bernice Sudue extend her appreciation to the school administration for allowing and enrolling at the institution whose records of providing quality education and impacting the lives of other prominent individuals both in private and public sectors contributing to Liberia in several fields.
Miss. Sudue who emerged as top student of the Junoir High Division lauded the school authority, devoted parents, fellow students and support staff for providing knowledge that would impact them and remain forever grateful to their parents and guardians though there are still different challenges ahead.
“We want to thank our parents for waking us up in the morning, providing breakfast preparing us for school, and providing our daily needs. Considering other challenges. You make sure to sponsor us in school so that we can be a better citizen for our nation Liberia,” the young valedictorian added.
She expressed empathy for some parents who braved all odds to ensure they have all necessary learning aids in support of their educational sojourn to be as prepared as their parents.
Miss Sudue then promised the parents on behalf of her colleagues that they will push ahead with no turning back and distraction in achieving the needed results for better future.
