PYNESVILLE, Liberia — Joy, pride, and celebration erupted across Grand Kru County as its gallant football team powered into the Grand Final of the 2025/2026 National County Sports Meet, delivering a breathtaking 3–0 victory over the much-hyped Grand Cape Mount County at the SKD Sports Complex.
Grand Kru’s victory takes the southeastern county into the grand final this Sunday, January 18, 2026 against the northeastern Nimba County.
Against all odds and under the bright lights of the nation’s biggest sporting arena, the Southeastern warriors played with heart, hunger, and unity.
