MONROVIA, Feb. 26, 2026 Liberia Football Association (LFA) under the astute leadership of President Mustapha I. Raji, has joined his counterpart in the Federation Of International Football Association Membership Organization, to celebrate and honor Ten Years of examplified leadership of President Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino in the developments of football globally.
The Liberia’s Football Body on Thursday , February 26, 2026 through its President Mustapha I. Raji calls on all football followers, Liberians as well as iconic legends around the world to use the occasion to celebrate President Infantino years of unbreakable and achievable leadership aim at moving football forward and making the sport throughly global for its membership organizations.
The Liberia Football Boss added that President Infantino Ten years of achievable leadership is an evidence of his vision to develop football for all membership associations that comes with benefits through the introduction of the FIFA-Forward Programs which Liberia is one of the beneficiaries.
“The FIFA-FORWARD Program is a fuel and engine of the Liberian Football. I believe, it is the fuel of the many other member associations around the world. Today, we are standing in the building that was constructed using the FIFA-FORWARD Fund”. LFA Boss added.
The Liberia Local Football head and also an Executive Committee Member of Confederation of African Football (CAF) lauded praise and expressed his gratitude to the FIFA President for his tremendous support to Liberia that today the country and its people are having their own headquarters through the FIFA-FORWARD Program since 1936 therefore there is a need to celebrate and be gratified.
In a mood of gratitude on behalf of all Liberians, the LFA Boss proudly announced that through the visionary leadership of President Infantino, the Liberia Football Association has benefited from the construction of Five Standard-Size Football Pitches, Two Mini Arena Pitches, investment in other infrastructure, grassroot and youth football, referees and coaches developments through the FIFA-FORWARD Fund.
” We are happy and excited with the operational cost in the running of the Liberia Football Association and without the FIFA-FORWARD Program, huge challenge w will face as a country”. LFA Boss emphasized.

He noted President Infantino is celebrated not only for his years of leadership at the helm of FIFA but for initiating programs for the development of all membership organizations to ensure that the FIFA-FORWARD Program continues to run and also for the introduction of the Talent Development Scheme (TDS), a program that is intended to give an opportunity to every girl and boy a talent and chance to grow.
