ORBITUARY: Funeral Arrangements For Martha Whea

The ChaCha, Glador, January, Goshua, Quakeh, Williams, Garway, Queh, Mambu, Nah, Robertson and Watkins families wish to inform the public of the following activities regarding the homegoing of late Mother, Meubay Martha January, CKA: ‘Whea’ who died on March 24, 2023 in the Peace Island (540) Community, Congo Town, Montserrado County, District #: 10:

  1. Wake Keeping 

There will be silent wake keeping at her oldest daughter’s residence on the Peace Island (540) Community, (KC Club, Doelacket Road), on Friday, April 14, 2023, beginning 9:00 PM to the late hours.

  1. Funeral celebration service 

The celebration of the homegoing service of our beloved mother will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, beginning 10:00AM to 11:30 AM. The service will take place in the Chapel of the A. B. Anderson Funeral Home on Lynch Street in Monrovia.

  1. Final Resting Place (At the Grave)

The burial of our beloved mother will take place in Nyanquest Town, District One, Grand Bassa County.

Please note: Buses will be available on the Peace Island and the Old Road on Saturday beginning at 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

One Bus will be packed on the Peace Island Community, Doelacket area (Opposite KC Club ); while the other Bus will be packed in front of York Plaza, Divine Town Community, Old Road. Both Buses will be available between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Those buses will pick-up from their various localities (Peace Island and Old Road) at 9:00 AM to Anderson Funeral Home on Lynch Street in Monrovia. Likewise, following the funeral service at 11:30 AM, the buses will be available to take family members and sympathisers to District One, Grand Bassa for final burial.
