The Inspector General (IG) of the Liberia National Police, Patrick Toe Sudue has been leading a government security delegation attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) that has been taking place in the United States, a press release from the LNP has said.
Other members of the security delegation are the Commissioner General of the Liberia Immigration Service, Robert W. Budy and Marcus D. Zehyoue, Director General of the Drugs Enforcement Agency who have been attending the IACP Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas, USA.
The IACP Annual Conference sessions, which was held from October 15 to 18, 2022, is the largest and most significant Law Enforcement event in the world which brings together more than 16,000 public safety professionals to acquire new Techniques, advance their knowledge and careers.
This year’s training focuses on building network skills and using effective tools to enhance effective policing which serves as a source for excellence.
The IACP will spend four days of educating and networking, while the exposition hall was opened Sunday -Tuesday during the conference with over 600 vendors available to showcase modern technologies in Police Service and Logistical equipment to improve law enforcement operations and profession the world over.
The LNP leadership and heads of Joint Security institutions are expected to coordinate and network with other heads of security institutions around the world aimed at enhancing the proficiency and effectiveness of officers, the press release signed by Police Spokesman Moses Carter concluded.
