Members of the judiciary and residents of Sinoe County are mourning the untimely death of its Circuit Court Clerk, J. Arthur Swen who died in a motorbike accident over the weekend.
According to County Attorney, Daniel T. Dweh, the Circuit Court Clerk died while returning from Court on Friday March 17,2022, when his motorbike collided with another bike head on.
The accident is reported to have occurred just minutes away from the Circuit court at about 5:30 Pm.
Due to this tragic incident, normal operations at the Third Judicial Circuit Court is at a standstill, because the only Clerk of court was the one involved in the accident.
County Attorney Dweh added that the deceased clerk of court was retired recently, but he was rehired to continue as a contractor due to the absence of a Clerk.
