CPP Martin Kollah Petitioned To Contest Montserrado District #6 Rep. Seat

Barely two months to the October 10 presidential and legislative elections in Liberia, residents of Rehab Golf in District Six of Montserrado County District #6 have petitioned CPP candidate Martin Saye Kollah to re-contest as a representative candidate.

Kollah is the Secretary General of the Liberty Party.

According to the inhabitants, their decision to petition Kollah is as a result of Kollah’s many developmental, humanitarian aid, health, and educational initiatives in the district over the years.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Ophelia M. Samuel, commonly known as Golden Voice, he said after overwhelmingly voting for the incumbent, Rev. Samuel   Enders in the past election, they have decided to switch sides.

In response, Martin Saye Kollah accepted their request and promised to not betray the trust and confidence of his people when elected but vowed to always visit and interact with them regularly.

Mr. Kollah, a former official in the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf government, named affordable and quality academic and technical education, health care, prioritizing public health care and making it accessible, local innovation through community self-help development initiatives,

And he also promised to address the plights of the disadvantaged and vulnerable citizens through rehabilitation and reintegration as his visions if elected comes October 10 election.

He has however, warned residents of District Six to be mindful of politicians who will hide behind the Bible.

“Do business with wicked politicians, reject them, and discipline wicked individuals who want public offices”, Martin urged.

Meanwhile, Kollah who is the Secretary General of the Liberty Party wants voters to collect Liberian money from politicians most especially those who have failed them in the past six years.

At the same time, the District #6 Rep. aspirant urged Liberians especially voters to change their condition by electing individuals who would transform their lives District Six the six years of suffering did not kill them and would not kill them in the remaining two months of the election.

The District Six Representative aspirant at the same time announced the provision of five hundred vocational school scholarships at his Technical School, the Kollah Foundation Institute located in District Six to several residents.

As part of his usual community outreach, Mr. Kollah has been visiting several women groups and young people who also promised to support him in the upcoming elections.
