“At Leaders Academy, we are dedicated to ensuring that tuition remains affordable for all families in reference to their commitment to accessibility and inclusivity,” he went on.

According to him, the inception of the Leaders Academy can be traced back to a poignant to 2013 when he visited Liberia and witnessed children selling cold water and other goods on the streets instead of attending school.

“Their stories struck a chord with my own upbringing in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, where I, too, had to sell cold water to finance my education.”

“This realization that this these children were not only seeking education for themselves but also striving to support their families fueled a passionate drive to establish a school community that would nurture and empower children, leaving no child behind.”

He said at the core of the mission is the establishment of a safety and welcoming environment for the children; adding “based on this back ground, we are dedicated to nurturing a generation of learners who excel academically, posse a social awareness and are equipped to lead with integrity, compassion and empathy.”

At the end of the program, 48 students were awarded certificates after successfully completing the requirements of the school and the Ministry of Education.
