NASSCORP Educate People In Maryland Co. On Its Social Protection Program

PLEEBO, Liberia- The Liberia National Social Security & Welfare Corporation  (NASSCORP)  has concluded a training workshop with over 50 beneficiaries here in the southeastern Maryland County.

NASSCORP’s has a Social Protection Program, which is supposed to provide coverage to insured workers and or their dependents in the event of interruption in their income due to sickness, injury, injury, retirement or death.

According to  the Corporation’s the Region 8 Regional Director, George Bolo, the day-long exercise was aimed at   educating  beneficiaries in Maryland County about NASSCORP’s policy, procedures and how they should operate their various mobile accounts to get their benefits from this public corporation.

“I’m extremely happy today that we were able to meet with many participants here in Pleebo city, therefore, from the education provided today many of our beneficiaries are excited and expressed that they have always receiving their money on time,” Mr. Bolo explained.

The NASSCORP official told www.newspublictrust.com that that region eight (8) in three southeastern counties include Maryland, River Gee and Grand Kru.

He called on everyone and interested organizations wishing to register to meet his office, so as to improve the activities of NASSCORP in the southern part of Liberia  and the life of Liberians.

“I’m the region director of the three counties, I will work together positively with my co-workers  to make sure that our beneficiaries will receive good education about the use of both Lone Star and orange mobile,” Mr. Bolo added.

For her part, one of the beneficiaries, Madam Eliza Jutty lauded  the efforts of the NASSCORP team in Maryland County for the level of education provided them on how they can get register and get their benefits after retirement.

“I’m so happy that NASSCORP Office is this region is taking these educative forum from county to county and teaching us. This will actually help us to understand and know how they work,” Madam Jutty told Reporters.
