In the 2023-2024 National County Sports Meet (NCSM) Rachel Griffin has set record of becoming the first player in the competition to secure a home run for Lofa County in Group D.
Liberia’s most traditional sports kickball displayed on Wednesday, 17 April in Kakata, Margibi County one of the venue for this year’s edition of the countryās mostĀ traditional sporting festival, the National County Sports Meet.
It was a heartbreaking for Margibi County as Lofa County secured a narrow 1-0 home run on Wednesday, 17 April at the opened-air Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata.

The win for Lofa County against Margibi County marks the first in the competition while on the other hand it marks the first defeat for Margibi County in the competition.
James who plays for second division top tier club BlueĀ Eagle in the second top-tier league of the Liberia Kickball Federation lone run in third inning for Lofa County sealed Lofa County a 1-0 win against host Margibi County.

The second league club BlueĀ EaglesĀ player James lone run in her teams win against Margibi County makes her the first player in the competition to reach a home in Group D in the kickball version which comprises of host Margibi,Grand Bassa and Lofa Counties.
In the group opening fixture on Sunday,14 April at the same venue host MargibiĀ County and Grand Bassa CountyĀ played to a scoreless home run.
As it stands in Group D the regining champions Lofa County sits on top of the group with 3pts while Grand Bassa County sits second place with 1 point.
