How Young Dekagai Sua’s Lone Goal Sealed A Vital Win For Samira FC

Youngster Dekagai Suah is enjoying his debut season in the second tier of domestic football as he continues to make head way for himself.

Since Suah moves from grassroot-football in Margibi County, he has proven to be a major signing for Samira FC since the start of the 2024-2025 LFA National-2nd Division League.

In his team’s fixture on Thursday, 27 March at the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnersville near Monrovia in continuation of the league season, Suah’s lone brilliant second half goal from and assist from Moses Yallah David secured a narrow 1-0 home win for Samira FC against District 17.

The brilliant finish by Suah did not only gives the club all three points but rather helps Samira FC to retain fifth place on the league table and reduced the points cap between Samira FC and Margibi FC, who sits fourth place after they played to a goalless full-time against Nimba Kwado. They had played at home on Wednesday, 26 March at the famous Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata.

The inform youngster Suah, who has been a regular player for Samira FC since his move from On Goal Football Academy to Samira FC. He has been a regular starter for the club with him starting 19 in 29 games in all competition with 16 in the League and 3 in the Orange Cup.

Suah missed his team’s fixture against Mighty Enforcer in Kakata, Margibi County in the second phase due to cards suspension. It was the only game that he did not feature on the team’s list of the ongoing season since he moved to Samira FC.

In his 29 games played for Samira FC, Suah recorded 10 goals in all competitions in his debut season making the team’s him the team’s top scorer, with 10 in all competition for club with 9 in the League and 1 in the Orange Cup.

He scores his first goal in his debut game of the Orange Cup against Down Town FC where he came in as a substitute on November 9, 2024 in Round One at the ATS on the UN Drive.

Suah alias “Tuazama” first goal for Samara FC and debut goal in the competition was against PAGS FC on October 26, 2024 at the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnersville, which marked his first start earning for his club a 1-0 away win.

A win for Samira FC in the last four (4) fixtures in the competition lies with unfavorable results from third place and fourth place Down Town FC and Margibi FC meaning they have to taste defeats in all the remaining 4 matches which will see Samira FC booking a space to the top-tier league of domestic football the LFA National-1st Division League.

Elsewhere on Thursday, 28 March CeCe United suffers a 3-1 home defeat to Down Town FC at the SKD PP in Paynesville.

In other results of Round 26 played on Wednesday, 27 March Wologisi FC automatically gained promotion to the top-tier league after a convincing 7-1 home win against Mighty Enforcer at the D-Tweh Field.

The win for Wologisi FC against doesn’t just helps the team promotion but rather helping them clinch the championship of the league as regard to the huge points cap between the 2nd and 3rd place clubs on the table which mathematically shows that they are the champions despite been officially crowned by the local football house the LFA.
