Registers 4th League Goal Of The Season, As FC Quincy Sealed Another Win In Margibi County

KAKATA, Liberia–FC Quincy talisman Bill Harris is keeping his club’ hopes after a   woeful start to competitive football in the LFA-Margibi Sub-Association 3rd Division 2024-2025 League Season, with his lone and sensational lone goal in the second half clinching a 1-0 home win for FC Quincy against Jabu FC.

That match was played at the famous Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium here on Thursday, 27 March.

Harris’ goal didn’t just secure a narrow 1-0 win for FC Quincy against Jabu FC but rather earned the club the second win in a row since the start of the competition of the new season.

His side got a convincing 3-1 win against the neighbors Prospers FC at the same venue on Tuesday, 25 March.

In addition, the youngster Harris registered his first goal of the second phase in such competition against Prosper FC and again got on the scoresheet at the same venue on Thursday, 27 March.

His lone sensational goal against Jabu FC marks his fourth goals for FC Quincy since the start of the season.

With the results from FC Quincy last two fixtures, it means the club has escaped the relegation zone and moves to eighth place on the league table with 14pts from 12 games winning 4, drawing 2 and with 6 defeats.

In other results from the same venue on Thursday, 27 March Prosper FC whitewashed Joanna FC 5-0.

The league continues on Saturday, 29 March with two interesting fixtures at the Lower End the Smell No Taste Field in Harbel, where Liberia’s largest rubber plantation is located.

With the kick-off time at 2PM for game one, Champ Academy Football Club wrestles with KA-CITY while at 4PM in the day’s final showpiece SUSA FC welcomes One Goal Football Academy to climax the sporting actions.

As it stands reigning champions Wein Town United Football Club are top of the league at first place accumulating 25 points from 14 games played since the start of the League Season.

Champions Wein Town United Football Club are on record of been the only club in such competition that have tasted a single defeat.
