New Coach Mario Marinica Names 23-Man Lone Star Squad For Qualifiers

The Liberia’s Senior National Men’s Head Coach Of Liberia Coach Mario Marinica named his 23-men squad for Lone Star’s World Cup Qualifier matches against Namibia 🇳🇦 and São Tomé 🇸🇹 in an away fixture on June 5 &9, 2024 respectively.

According to the Liberia Football Association (LFA) through a Aacebook page on Tuesday, 28 May 2024 said that the Coach included six (6) players who have been placed on reserve.

Orange National League-1st Division MVP Edward Ledlum, Sheikh Sesay, Jah Nyanforh, Jusu Dukuly, Emmanuel Sieh, and Armah Vaikainah are among six players who have been placed on reserve.

Liberia is paired in Group H, which include Tunisia, Namibia, Malawi, Sao Tome and Principe and Equatorial Guinea.

Coach Mario Marinica Lone Start sits third place in Group H with 3pts.

The Lone Star of Liberia got her first three points after FIFA sanctions Equatorial Guinea Football Federation (FEGUIFIT) and star player Emilio Nsue Lopez after the player ineligibly played in two World Cup Qualifers ( Equatorial Guinea vs. Namibian, Liberia vs. Equatorial Guinea in November 2023.

Nsue Lopez scores the lone goal in Monrovia to handed Liberia a 1-0 home defeat on 20 November 2023.
