Atty. Samuel Kofi Woods To Be Inducted Friday As YMCA Board Chair With Other Board Members

Induction program for newly elected board members of the Liberia YMCA will take place on Friday March 17, 2023 at 6:00 pm.

The induction program, according to a YMCA release will take place in the Eugene H. Cooper Conference Hall of the Liberia YMCA.

Those to be inducted are: Atty. Samuel Kofi Woods, II Chairman, Mr. E. Edward Gboe, Co-chairman, Mrs. Yornie Lardner Cooper, Treasurer and all Chairpersons of County YMCA boards across the country, among others. Cllr. N. Osward Tweh, President of the Liberia Chambers of Commerce & Managing Director Pierre, Tweh & Associates, Inc., is expected to serve as the Keynote Speaker and Induction Officer.

Also expected to be in attendance are former board chairpersons of the Liberia YMCA and invited guests.

Following the induction program, a fund-raising program will be held. Funds generated will help enable YMCA make interventions in the area of awareness on drug abuse across its program centers.
