The main opposition Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) is dispelling rumours circulating in Monrovia that the party is planning a demonstration tomorrow, Friday.
In a mobile phone interview with newspublictrust.com minutes earlier, CDC’s Vice Chairman for Operations Mulbah Morlu said such information is false and misleading.
“We’re not demonstration when we are winning the October 10 polls. How can we demonstrate when we are winning the elections on the first round,”Morlu boasted
The CDC executive instead said his party was holding a series of meeting at its Headquarters in Monrovia to “prepare for a national celebration” since it’s anticipating victory.
Meanwhile, the National Elections Commission (NEC) is due to begin releasing provisional results from Tuesday’s presidential and legislative polls.
