The former Minister McGill is one of the many contestants that is vying for the Senatorial seat of Margibi County comes October 10, 2023.

There is no doubt that since the minister resigned from government dued to be sanctioned by America it is of no secret of his political ambition to be the next Senator of Margibi County.

He is said to be one of the most influential contenders in the County, but he so far faces a major challenge from Margibi County’s incumbent Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay, who claims that McGill is not a Margibian. But he says McGill is rather looking for opportunity since he has been sanctioned by the USA due to corruption.

So far, there are several names in the corridor of Margibi County who want or might be contesting comes October 10, 2024 which include Rev. Emmanuel J. Giddings, Joseph Yapuya, Clarice Jah, Ballah Zayzay, Joshua Robertson among others who want to replace Senator James Tornolo who has never declared his intention of a re-election.

Nathaniel Farlo Mcgill is a high steward of the CDC while on the contrary, Sen. Nuquay has pledged his party’s support for the re-election of President George M.  Weah a decision which is still in court but on the contrary, it has been alleged that he is the main financier behind the Senatorial bid of Joseph Yarpuyah.
