Liberia COVID-19 Deaths At Standstill But Spike In New Confirmed Cases

Although the number of deaths from the Coronavirus pandemic in Liberia remains at a standstill for a while, 20 in total, latest Update from the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) shows a rise in the number of infections.

In 72 hours, the number of confirmed cases has jumped from 199 (May 7, 2020 Update) to 211. in the May 10, 2020 NPHIL published on its website on Monday, May 11, 2020.

The rural Gbapolu, the latest county in western Liberia to be hit by one confirmed case of virus recently, has now recorded four more cases.
