Commissioner Fofana emphasized that the Buchanan event is the start of a two-prong set of workshops to be held as first steps in addressing these challenges associated with the broadcast industry in the country. The next Workshop is slated to be held in north-central Liberia in a fortnight.

FM radio remains the most accessible and influential forms of mass communication in Liberia.
