WLOWIE, Maryland, Liberia- The lifeless body of a man identified as Jerry I. Weah has been discovered in this part of this southeastern County, after he was said to be involved in an argument over money.

Wlowie is in District Number three, Karluway, about 14 kilometers from the County Commercial capital, Pleebo City.

It is still not known as to how the man died, something police are investigating.

Karluway and Barrabo Districts have in the past witnessed similar mysterious deaths, where lifeless bodies have been discovered.

According to family member who spoke to www.newspublictrust.com,  Williey Dalieh, Jerry Weah  came from Monrovia to seek job in Maryland. But he said upon arrival, he decided to stop with his uncle in Wlowein where he later started working for the Maryland Oil Palm Plantation of the SIFCA GROUP OF COMPANY.

Few months after his employment with this company, he met a woman only identified as Victoria, who asked him to borrow her the amount of 120 United States Dollars, which he did. But the family member said when he went to collect his money, the lady refused to pay him, after which a confusion ensued, leading to the trading of insults.

The woman later felt offended and decided to take the case to the police/court.

Out of fear, the late Jerry Weah asked family members and the town people to go and plead with the women in question, but Victoria is said to have refused the appeals of family members and town people and maintained her stance to take the case to Court.

“I previously planned a lawsuit against him for insulting me as female.I felt offended for him coming to my house to insult me even though I owed him his one hundred and twenty US dollars, I must take him to court,” the woman is quoted as saying.

The deceased brother said after Vitoria refused to accept the appeals, she left the town for Manolu, the home town of Maryland County Senator and the Senate Chair on internal Affairs, J.Gbleh No Brown.

Later during the early morning of Wednesday, the deceased left his family house in the name of going to job at one of the Company’s plantations. But he didn’t return after a whole day. So the next day, the entire town got concerned. The 44-year-old man was nowhere to be found. It was not until Friday, when the family in collaboration with the town people decided to launch a search for him, when they discovered his body on Saturday near a creek.

Mr.Dalieh disclosed to the Media that the body was discovered during the early morning of Saturday at 8:00am, we sent a communication to the local authority of the district but we didn’t see any of them coming to our call.

“We have a very serious problem the body is getting rotten and we need to bury the body before it get worse. I’m leaving for Karloken today to meet our local authority,” the brother of the deceased said.
