A message of hope, unity, and a call for sound leadership.
In the heart of the Planet Earth, Africa, West Africa, particularly the Mano River Union Basin, lies Liberia, a nation steeped in history, resilience, and potential.
Yet, for too long, the whispers of hope have been drowned out by the weight of despair.
Liberians stand poised at a critical juncture, yearning for a leadership style that embodies genuine commitment to their well-being, one who arises not merely as a politician but as a true son or daughter of the soil.
Today(July 26, 2026), as Liberians gather in contemplation of their collective future, they find themselves at a moral crossroads, staring into the abyss of poverty and disillusionment, waiting for the day when they shall hear from a leader who will assure them with unwavering faith and the fear of Yahweh-Glapoh-Nyesuah-Hala-Na-Meleka—God-Almighty, etc., as many reference Jehovah in their native vernaculars, that liberation from poverty, justice for all, and socioeconomic are truly within reach.
Liberia has a rich tapestry woven into the very fabric of its existence.
From the lush green hills of Bong County (the county of my birth) to Lake Piso in Grand Cape Mount, the Mountain of Nimba, the Ocean city of Buchanan, the Food Baseket of Lofa County, many other counties that continue to contribute to the welfare of the nation, bustling streets of Monrovia, this land has seen both the soaring heights of triumph and the crushing depths of despair.
It is a nation born of the dreams of people seeking Hala-Na-Meleka-God-Almighty freedom, a beacon of hope for those wanting a brighter tomorrow.
But alas, as Liberians gaze around them today, they are met with an uncomfortable reality: a reality steeped in the gutters of poverty, marred by the clutches of dangerous illicit substances, and shackled by a cycle of unemployment that has left many of their youth and young people wandering in an intellectual drought.
Imagine a young man, once full of ambition, now relegated to the streets, succumbing to circumstances that stifle his dreams, or a bright young woman, her aspirations tainted by the corrosive influence of misguided beliefs, finding herself trapped in a web of despair and social prostitution, galavanting in the streets and corners of the land of her birth.
These are not just statistics; they are well-meaning Liberians, brothers, sons, daughters, cousins, nephews, mothers, fathers, nieces, fellow Liberians, and sisters, the very future of Liberia, merely waiting for the opportunity to rise and reclaim their rightful place in a society that has often forgotten them.
The weight of every Liberian collective responsibility is heavy; yet the potential for change is greater still.
As Liberians forge ahead, they must acknowledge the erosion of integrity that plagues their nation.
Trust, once a cornerstone of their communities, has been undermined by corruption and self-interest.
Political promises have often been reduced to mere rhetoric, devoid of the sincerity and dedication that will ultimately liberate them from their plight.
They seek a leader who will not only articulate the people’s dreams but also share in their struggles—one who will embody the values of honesty, accountability, and service.
It is through genuine leadership that they will rise from the ashes of despair.
Picture Liberia illuminated by the collective light of dedicated citizens standing shoulder to shoulder, united in purpose with their government.
Visualize towns, once burdened by trash and neglect, transformed into cleaner, thriving hubs of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity.
It is not enough for their leaders to promise a brighter tomorrow; they must walk the path of righteousness by engaging with the community, listening to its concerns, and forging partnerships that transcend traditional political boundaries.
They must demand a vision that engages every true son and daughter of Liberia, igniting the flame of hope in each.
They are called to liberate themselves from the cycle of mental ensnarement that hinders creativity and growth, from the mindset that accepts mediocrity as the status quo.
Young Liberians are bursting with potential, ready to rise as scholars, entrepreneurs, critical thinkers, and change-makers.
Their nation must invest in this education, nurture these talents, and foster an environment that celebrates innovation and critical thinking.
This is a clarion call to the nation’s leaders: embrace the excellence that resides within the youth, and young people
They are the future, and their empowerment must be the government’s priority.
This vision, a Liberia reborn, can only be realized when Liberians recognize the dirt that permeates their cities, towns, and counties.
They must use the services of those who violate the laws, through minor misdemeanors, rather than keeping them in jails, cells, and prisons, to perform community service by helping to clean the villages, towns, cities, districts, counties, and the nation of dirt and other filth that detracts from the beauty of bustling streets.
It is not merely the physical litter but rather the moral and ethical decay that serves as a reminder of their struggles.
They must cleanse their land, reclaim their dignity, and uphold the values that define them as a people.
Together, they can turn Liberia into a sanctuary of hope and prosperity, a nation where every citizen proudly proclaims their identity, where being called a Liberian is a badge of honor.
Let every air-breathing Liberian strive to be the beacon of diplomatic hope, not just for themselves but for humanity.
Liberia has a unique position in the world, an opportunity to share its wisdom, resilience, and cultural heritage with others.
The international community must come to recognize Liberia not as a land of desperation but as a wellspring of knowledge and inspiration.
This requires a concerted effort from those in positions of power to build bridges, promote dialogue, and foster understanding.

As I lay down my thoughts, I implore every true son and daughter of Liberia to awaken from the slumber of complacency to a place where everyone will shout, “In the cause of the people, the struggles for social and economic justice have ended, and a new Liberia with a new meaning is today, glory to our Creator Hala-Na-Meleka-God-Almighty.”
The time is now; the nation needs champions, heroes willing to invest in their collective future.
Speak out against injustice, illegal drugs that continue to place young people in the dungeons-gutters of zogos, advocate for transparency, and hold their leaders accountable.
Together, Liberians can disband the forces that seek to divide them and instead foster unity that transcends all barriers.
For in the heart of every true Liberian beats a spirit of resilience and hope.
It is this very spirit that will lead every true son and daughter to a brighter dawn.
Let their voices ring, let their aspirations soar, and let their actions create a pathway toward a Liberia that they can all be proud to call home, a nation where hope rekindles dreams and dreams become reality.
