SKD Stadium To Host LKF-Margibi Sub-Association 2026 Knockout Grand Finale

The second most prestigious kickball competition in Margibi County, the LKF-Margibi Sub-Association Knockout Championship, will conclude with its 2026 Grand Finale at the SKD Kickball Sports Pitch in Paynesville.
According to the Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF)-Margibi Sub-Association, the decision to stage this year’s final in Paynesville followed a request from the national leadership of the Liberia Kickball Federation.
The championship match is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and will mark the first time the competition’s final has been played outside Margibi County.
The highly anticipated final will feature Kamara KC against Surprise KC in a battle for the coveted knockout title.
Heading into the final, Surprise KC sit third on the league table with 21 points from 11 matches, while Kamara KC occupy eighth place with 8 points from 11 games.
Road to the Final
In June of this year, Kamara KC secured their place in the final after edging Vision Sister KC in the semifinals, booking the club’s first-ever appearance in the Knockout Championship final since making their competitive kickball debut during the ongoing 2025–2026 league season.
Surprise KC, meanwhile, earned a second consecutive final appearance by defeating Mighty Power KC in the other semifinal in June of this year also.
The Kakata-based outfit will be looking to go one step further after finishing as runners-up in last year’s competition.
In the 2025 edition, Surprise KC lost to their nearby rivals, Dream Girls KC, who captured their first major trophy in Margibi County kickball. However, the defending champions were unable to retain their crown this season after being eliminated earlier in the tournament.
Victory for either Surprise KC or Kamara KC will not only secure the 2026 LKF-Margibi Sub-Association Knockout Championship title but will also earn the winners a place in the 2026 Liberia Kickball Federation National Second Division Regional and Promotional Playoffs, scheduled to be held in August in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
