MONROVIA, Liberia – In a positive tribute to transformative leadership, graduates of the Education Department at Cuttington University Junior College in Kakata, Margibi County have honored Education Minister, Dr. Jarso Marley Jallah for her unwavering commitment to teacher training in Liberia.
The recognition ceremony, held on Wednesday, July 23, 2026, at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, brought together former USAID TEST scholarship beneficiaries, officials from CU Junior College, representatives from the Margibi County Education Office, and senior staff from the Ministry of Education.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Alexander Diggs added that the event was specifically convened to express profound gratitude for the sponsorship that enabled the graduates to complete their rigorous teacher training program, while also acknowledging the Ministry’s sustained investment in Liberia’s educational future.
Addressing the gathering on behalf of the graduates, Alexander Diggs further delivered a powerful message of appreciation. He thanked the Ministry of Education and the Government of Liberia for prioritizing teacher education through the USAID TEST initiative, noting that the program was instrumental in equipping a new generation of educators to serve in classrooms nationwide.
