As one of the millions of stakeholders in the Republic of Liberia was stunned recently when some members of the Liberian public allow their judgements to be blinded, when those newly imported buses were paraded in the major streets of Monrovia which were greeted with booing!
From where I sit, see some Liberians who have forgotten to understand that none of our past and current leadership in Liberia was voted for in order for them to use their personal wealth for the benefit of the Nation (Liberia)!
Whatever negotiation with Ecobank to pre-finance these buses, the financial burdens has automatically shifted to the already struggling Liberian economy and not individuals within the ruling Unity Party-led administration!
Those buses, student’s that will be riding free of charge will never be ask which Party’s they and their parents support before embarking on any one of those buses!
Even these so-called die-hard politicians from other political parties will they or members of their useless political party ever ask to present their party identity’s before embarking?
Why has illiteracy and stupidity, taken over Liberia’s political landscape to the extend reasoning has eroded into the skulls of party’s faithful and nothing palatable are ever said about all party who assumed the leadership roles of this Nation (Liberia)?
And on the other side of the coin, we need not sing and dance when we delivered on promises to the Liberian people that stood under the rain and sun to vote a party to control state power which control the natural resources!
The Liberian political scenario is synonymous to a man who went to dory his wife from her parent’s home and take her to his house and they both bring forth children. Subsequently, the father of these children and their mother are told to dance and clap because their father builds them beautiful home, gives them good meals three times daily, sends to the best of school and showering them with the best of vacations!
At no time must anyone in Liberia think that their government is doing their best when the very Constitution which governs the state has clauses mandating the government of the day to make all these provisions available for its citizens without discrimination of any sorts!
Building of good roads, good hospitals, schools, good vocational and technical education, security’s for all, affordable housing units, better labour system and the government making an enabling environment for investors to come in creating jobs etc These are the fundamental rights of the Liberian people and must not be ascribed to political gains as has and continued to be in Liberia!
No political party which assumed leadership in Liberia came with their personal resources and turn father’s Christmas in building free schools and hospitals, buying food and paying school fees since this nation founding fathers thought bring us together as a Nation!
I challenge any Liberian to prove me wrong with evidence from the 1800s of any so-called political party which after assuming power turn to father Christmas and the Liberian people benefitted immensely to the extend a lasting scars are still lingering in their minds to date!
These illiterate and stupid so-called attitudes on the part of those political sycophants must stop now as this often brings disgraced to Liberians in general when these images hit the global communities!
Liberians no matter your political persuasions must realize that no UP, CDC, ALCOP,TWP and the rest of the political party’s got their personal wealth to develop this Nation (Liberia) but all that are paraded in Liberia are the just benefits of all Liberians to the yet unborn generations!
Liberians aren’t you aware how this useless political stupidity has and continues to destroy the Nation as the result Liberians can’t boast of any meaningful development at the age of 178 years and counting!
What that matters the more for Liberians are good stewardship with good accountabilities and good decisions for the betterment of the greater good of the Liberian people!
I rest my case, Liberian people!
