Orange Liberia Donates Food And Non-food Items To Maryland County

HARPRE, Liberia-Orange Liberia has donated food and Non Foos items to the People and Authority of the South Eastern County Maryland, about 650 miles southeast of Monrovia.

During the presentation of the items on behalf of Orange Liberia, the Regional Director, Lewis Howard said it was their own way of identifying with the People of Maryland County in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr. Howard informed the County authority to considered less fortunate people in the County, in time of distribution.

Items donated by Orange Liberia included 50bags of 25kg Rice, 10 Cartoons of clean soaps among others.

Mr. Howard in an interview pledged his company’s support to Maryland County in the fight of this Global pandemic,

“I am the Regional Director of Orange Liberia, Maryland County is no exception of other counties in Liberia that receiving contribution from Orange Liberia to combat Coronavirus pandemic.”

Receiving the items on behalf of the County, Maryland County Superintendent George A. Prowd thanked Orange Liberia for the kind gesture, and promised that the items donated will be distributed fairly.

“Orange Liberia has followed a good path in donating to the our county”

Superintendent Prowd  used the Occasion to appeal to t other Companies, Humanitarian  Organizations  to follow the step taken by Orange Liberia so as to help support old and vulnerable people and curtail  the spread of Coronavirus in the County

He added that the distribution of the materials and food  will be done in  subsequently time.

Mr. Prowd called on Marylanders to continue to follow the preventive method of Covid_19. Report by Charles Gbayor
