REACH Announces 2022 Virasat Cultural Festival In Dehradun, India

Dehradun, India- Virasat Arts’ and Heritage Festival is expected to commence today, Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Ambedkar Stadium, Kaulagarh Road, in Dehradun City, Uttarakhand.

The fifteen (15) days cultural festival, which starts from October 9th to the 23rd, is being organized by the Rural Entrepreneurship for Arts & Cultural Heritage (REACH), an institution that is specialized in hosting of cultural events across India.

The disclosure was made in front of senior members of REACH during a major press conference held at Madhuban Hotel, Rajpur Road, Dehradun, on Saturday.

Dr. Alka Mittal, former Managing Director, ONGC, said the event showcases classical music, jazz performances, grand food festival, dance, folk music and several other activities.

According to him, today’s event marks Virasat second cultural festival appearances for the year 2022 in Dehradun because they were not given permission to host the event in 2021 due to covid-19.

Dr. Mittal further announced that ONGC is the only corporate, perhaps in the world which has got this bigger festival under its domain because of the enlightened top management of ONGC.

“It’s a very important moment today for us that we are about to observe virasat festival,” he noted.

REACH was founded in 1995 in Dehradun with the aims of preserving the value of India’s arts, Culture and heritage.

Dehradun residents and guest from across India country will witness the true meaning of a colorful cultural festival at the opening of the Virasat festival 2022 at the Ambedkar Stadium.
