Truck Collides With Motorcycle, Killing 3 Persons On Harper-Pleebo Highway

SOUTHEASTERN Liberia- Friday May 19 2023 was devastating for families, friends and citizens in Liberia’s southeastern Maryland County, when three lives were lost in a motor accident.

The tragic accident happened when a truck and a motorcycle were involved in a collision on the Harper-Pleebo highway in Maryland County, which is now been paved with asphalt, 614 kilometers from the Liberian capital, Monrovia.

According to eyewitness accounts, the car and motorcycle collided on the roadway, while en route to distinct destinations.

However, the identities of the dead have so far not reached this Reporter.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle and his attendant locally known as “carboy” are said to have fled the scene of the accident to evade the wrath of angry crowd, as the Liberia National Police maintain control of the situation.
