An auxiliary of the Alternative National Congress has strongly condemned the stabbing to death of a car washer by an officer of the Presidential elite force, Executive Protective Service (EPS) in Kakata, Margibi County, 73 kilometers east of Monrovia.

Recently, car washer Abraham Mulbah was stabbed by an EPS agent, Gabriel Kamara, following the disappearance of his cell phone from a car he has gone to wash his car.

The Liberia National Police later arrested the EPS officer involved, while EPS authorities have disrobed him.

The ANC National Cyber Defense cited several incidents of  killings, rape and police brutality that the group claimed were investigated but the findings were not satisfactory.

The ANC auxiliary  enumerated the killing of Kumba Tamba by an officer of the Liberia National Police identified as James Domo at the View Point Community in Paynesville the and  rapping of a 15-year-old girl by an officer named Winston Holmes.

Addressing a press conference in Monrovia this week, the ANC national cyber defense Chairman, Peter Sanders,   said killing, police brutality and high rate  under the CDC-led government must come to an end because these devilish acts portray Liberia as a gangster paradise characterized by lawlessness.

“Some of these nefarious instances mentioned above are committed by government security paid by taxes of the citizens who they are responsible to protect.”

Mr. Sanders added, “ these are events are indications to the masses of the  irresponsibility and insensitivity on the part of some of these security officers.”

He said the ANC wants nothing less than until justice is served because investigation into death of Matthew Innis, an employee of the Central Bank of Liberia,  did not yield any fruitful result.

Mr. Sanders noted that the ANC will rally around the family of the victims of these killings and defend their rights to justice at all cost.

“We will defend the rights of our people with the support of tens of thousands of Liberians and stand firmly with our people always without fear.”

The ANC is a constituent member of the Collaborating Political Parties . The others are the former ruling Unity Party, the Liberty Party and the All Liberian Party.
