Thirty-eight Liberian kids are expected to travel with the Determined Angel Culture and Tourism International on a tour of the USA, Spain, China and other countries for cultural performances and talents exposure.

Determined Angel Culture and Tourism International is a nonprofit Organization that help kids identify their God-given talents and to learn the culture of Liberia through performance.

The international travel is an annual event organized by the Institution aimed at helping its children explore the cultural of Liberia and their God talents through performance at the international level.

Speaking over Saturday April 20, 2024 in an interview, the Organization Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Patricia Davies Hamelberg said the kids are trained to know the history of Liberia, languages and its tradition or culture.

Mrs. Hamelberg observed that Liberians are gradually forgetting about their culture heritage at such there is a need to education.

“Against this backdrop, last year we took five of our kids in China, Thailand and Viana and it went well they were able to display the cultural of Liberia and their talents,” she said.

According to Mrs. Hamelberg, thirty-eight of their kids will be traveling this June to USA, Spain, Thailand, China and India alone with either their mother or father on the journey where they will be given the opportunity to perform and explore the cultural of Liberia.

“We are therefore appealing to all individuals, humanitarians, charity organizations to help with financial support to purchase tickets for some of our kids,” said she.

She at the same time called on government for stronger support and collaboration in making the program a success and promote the talents of Liberian kids.

Mrs. Hamelberg is meanwhile appealing to government, individuals at home and abroad to help promote the cultural and tradition thereby putting Liberia on the map in the area of tourism.

She observed that investing in the culture and tourism sector by creating the necessary environment will help boost the country economy and create job opportunities for Liberians.

Speaking at the ceremony, parents who attended the exhibition the event expressed joy and happiness over the performance of their kids.

They however, commended the founder for her work in helping the kids to identify their talents.

At the same time, they called on other parents not to abandon their kids but urged them to always care and provide support in whatever positive direction they are taking towards their dreams.
