KAKATA, Liberia– As a means of easing the logistical problem facing the national Police in Margibi County, the County Administration has provided logistical support to the joint security in Kakata and its environs.

Under the leadership of Superintendent Victoria Worlobah Duncan, the support motorcycles this week have been given to enable local police to operate more efficiently and respond promptly to incidents within the community.
The donation, which was made at the County Administrative office, where Superintendent Duncan expressed her commitment to improving security in the County.

“Security is a collaborative effort, and we must empower our police force with the necessary resources to maintain peace and order in our communities,” she stated. “These motorcycles will not only enhance mobility but will also help our officers to better engage with the public and respond to emergencies swiftly,” the Margibi County Superintendent said.
The donation of the motorcycles comes at a crucial time as the region grapples with various security challenges, including petty crimes and community unrest. Local officials and community leaders have long emphasized the need for more effective policing, and this latest initiative by the county administration is seen as a progressive step towards achieving that goal.
Meanwhile, the Police Commander of the County Police Detachments ACP Patrick Kormazu welcomed the logistical support from the county administration.
“This initiative will dramatically improve our capacity to patrol the streets and conduct timely investigations. With these motorcycles, officers will be able to cover more ground, ensuring that we can protect our citizens and deter crime more effectively,” Inspector Thompson remarked.
The Margibi police chief further called on the County Legislative Caucus to provide more logistical support to the joint security operating in Margibi.
“With this, we are also calling on the Margibi County Legislative Caucus to help the police and the community watch team to enable us response promptly,” the local police commander added.
The Margibi County Administration has committed to continuing its support for law enforcement, recognizing that a collaborative approach is essential for fostering long-term security and development in the region.
As the Kakata Police Detachment receives these new resources, the administration hopes to witness a positive impact on crime rates and overall community safety.
