Allan Brown Emerges As LRP Standard Bearer

The 2023 national convention of the Liberia Restoration Party (LRP) has ended in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, with the election of a new corps of officers including Allan Brown as its standard bearer for the next six years.

The Chairman of the LRP National Convention, James Yarmie, who also served as the Chairman of the election committee, declared businessman Allan Brown as standard bearer, Gabriel Salee, National Chairman; and Abbas Lakis, National Vice Chairman for Administration.

Other party officials elected are Elijah Wade, National Vice Chairman for Operation; Adventus Kardee, National Vice Chairperson for Inter-Party Affairs; Biz Mackie Harper, National Secretary General, among others.
According to him, Mr. Brown emerged as standard bearer from among four contestants including McDonald Wento, John Bleah and former diplomat Christopher Nippy.

Meanwhile, the newly elected standard bearer of the Liberia Restoration Party has unveiled several plans aimed improving the lives of the Liberian people, develop the country and ensure the constant supply of basic social services.
Businessman Allan Brown said the first plan if he succeeds in the 2023 presidential elections is to ensure that Liberia becomes the breadbasket not only to feed its people but export to other countries in the world.
Speaking when he was officially elected as standard bearer of the LRP in Tubmanburg, Mr. Brown added that investors establish business link with Liberians in order to under infrastructural development in the 15 sub political divisions simultaneously.

The newly elected standard bearer of the Liberia Restoration Party has vowed to make electricity and water supply affordable for the ordinary people.

According him, justice will be executed based on fair play as there will no interference in the judicial issues in the country.

The LRP political leader quoted the World Food Program survey saying that over two million people find it very difficult in affording a meal a day.

“Based on this background, “he went on,” if he is elected. His government will ensure that every Liberian is fed once a day at the expense of the state.”

The LRP political leader said feeding centers will be in the model of the United States where homeless and vulnerable people can eat, have a bath and even go to establishing rehabilitation centers for thousands of disadvantaged youths.

Speaking earlier, the National Chairman of the Liberia Restoration Party, Gabriel Salee, stressed for members to remain constant in paying their membership dues, because it is very costly to maintain a political party.

He praised the efforts by John Bleah, Christopher Nippy, McDonald Wento and the standard bearer as well as members of the national executive committee of the LRP for their support in hosting the national convention
According to him, a formal program marking the induction of the newly elected members of the national executive committee of the LRP is expected to take place in Monrovia shortly.
