Alleged Notorious Scammer Tells Police: He’s Well Connected And Will Be Back In The Community Soon

As Police Send Him To Court On Multiple Criminal Charges

Monrovia, Liberia- As Police spokesman Moses Carter was reading the press statement at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police, an alleged notorious scammer who is said to have victimized many women has boasted of being well connected and that he will be out of jail soon.

Scammer is “someone who makes money using illegal methods, especially by tricking people,” according to Cambridge English Dictionary.

Defendant George B. Wade, alias “Nicolas Jack Davis” was seen laughing when the Liberia National Police (LNP) Spokesman Moses Carter was reading a statement to the press announcing that he has been charged with multiple crimes and forwarded to court for trial recently.

“Stop hurting your head because I am connected both locally and internationally and you usually see me out whenever I am sent to jail,” defendant Wade boasted.

Defendant Wade indicated that he has no remorse from the stance he put up, looking very lively and joking with officers who had him in their custody.

Following police investigation, the man was charged and sent to court this week for allegedly committing multiple crimes.

“Rape, Sexual Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threat, Felonious Restrain, Menacing, Criminal Coercion, Robbery, Armed Robbery, Forgery or Counterfeiting, Theft of Property, and Disseminating Obscene Materials which contravened Chapter 14; Sections 14.70, 14.77, 14.21, 14.24, 14.51, 14.25, 14,27, Chapter 15; Section 15.30, 15.32, 15.70, 15.51 and Chapter 18; Section 18.7 for purposely, knowingly and intentionally having

intercourse with women not his wives and without their consent, in the process causing bodily injuries both physical and psychological, as well as threating his victim(s) with serious bodily harm or death while unlawfully retraining his victim(s) at unspecified locations where he subjects them to involuntary servitude, take nude photos of or video records his victim(s) with the employ of weapons such as single barrel short gun pistol or knife.”

George B. Wade, alias “Nicolas Jack Davis” is also said to have used other names such as Kingston Kelvin, Santos, Jones, Moses carry out his alleged scamming activities.

Initially he was said to have victimized nearly two dozen women. But now the defendant is said to have come in contact with 8 victims.

On April 23, 2023 during the evening hours, suspect Wade was arrested by the police in Monrovia.

During Police criminal investigation conducted with several victims and the defendant, he admitted in the presence of his Legal representation on the commission his crimes against them (Victims).

In view of the investigative facts and circumstances coupled with witnesses, the investigation was resolved to charge alleged suspect George Wade with the following offences to include:

For also illegally being in possession of LRD76,500.00 worth of fake LRD500 Bank Notes, which offenses were carried out with different victims at various locations on different dates, and therefore have him forwarded to Court for prosecution.

In another development, the Liberia National Police has arrested, investigated and duly charged suspect Toney G. Boimah, 46 and a resident of the Parker Comer community, Brewerville for murder, a Liberian police statement said.

On April 9, 2023, suspect Boimah was arrested for allegedly chopping victim

Lasana Fomba, Jr. who left his Po-River residence, G4 community in Brewerville to visit his brother (Boakai Fomba Jawateh) on his head, clbow, neck and fingers with an object believed to be a cutlass and later durnped the body on the train track.

Suspect Boimah has now been sent to Court for prosecution with the crime of Murder in contravention of Chapter 14, subchapter A, Section 14.1 of the penal code of the Republic of Liberia.

Meanwhile, both defendants Wade and Toney G. Boimah will be sent to court on May 4,2023, Police spokesman Moses Carter has told Journalists.
