But Some Citizens Express Excitement After Seeing Earth-Moving Equipment

MONROVIA (LINA)- Scores of citizens along the Japan Freeway were seen in a jubilant mood standing along the sidewalks as well at several intersections to celebrate the unveiling of the First bitch of the earth moving machines from the National Port Authority to the Government of Liberia to be used for roads construction.
The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of State without Profolio, Mamaka Bility has received the first batch of the earth moving machines intended to begin work on major roads in the length and birth of Republic of Liberia so as to connect all parts of the country for the citizens to commute freely and accessible.
Citizens who were in their numbers walking and even others who were on moving objects like taxi drivers, motorcyclists, tricle riders and other passersby, express their happiness by waving to the convoy of the Earth moving machine, and some were seen doing video recordings to thank the President of the Republic of Liberia for living up to his promise that road connectivity is one of the major components of the ARREST agenda.
The entrance of NPA as far as Paynesville was a scene of side attraction today by Liberians and other nationals who witness the unveiling of the brand-new equipment with the inscription “Think Liberia, Build Liberia and Love Liberia”. Adding, citizens who came to praise the President of Liberia were shouting and saying “thank you Mr. President. Noting that one of Liberia major challenges is about to be addressed and taking with caution”. Others were using the famous words used by one of the staunch supporters and elderly woman of President Boakai, “Boakai Da Baby”.
The Minister along with her entourage riding on one of the vehicles leading the unveiling process to the citizens from the National Port Authority, driving through the streets to show that the President is cognizant of the fact that road connectivity is an integral element to develop Liberia and contribute to the economy, and as such the machines are in country to do just that.
The Jubilant Supporters who were mostly young people and even minors commended President Boakai for his unwavering commitment to the development of Liberia not only by words but rather by action. Some indicated that the long-awaited rumours surrounding the earth moving machines to Liberia for construction has now come reality therefore, there is need for Liberians to celebrate this venture that would be beneficiary to everyone.
Both New Georgia and Bardersvill junctions got the attention of news men who were riding along with the convoy as Liberians from all walks of the society, shouting and dancing at the same waving saying at least they will have the opportunity or means to go to their county freely if these machines begin start to do roads in Liberia despite some say they are not supporters of the government.
However, others who were also along with road indicated though the machines are brand new but they are all from China which may last for a longer time. But again, they are grateful to the government for taking this bold step towards development in Liberia.
