As Liberian Journalists Mourn His Loss, PUL Opens Book Of Condolence For Henry Flomo

Monrovia- The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) expresses deep sorrow over the loss of its esteemed member Henry Boyd Flomo has this Thursday, March 28, 2024, opened a book of condolence.

Mr. Flomo, a former Producer at the Liberia Broadcasting System and until recently Director of Communications at the National Elections Commission (NEC),  was pronounced dead at the Ganta United Methodist Hospital in Ganta, Nimba County, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, where he had gone to conduct a ten-day intensive workshop on Building Resources in Democracy, Governance, and Elections on behalf of the National Elections Commission (NEC).

A PUL press release says the journalism community has been profoundly affected by his unfortunate demise.

The late Mr. Henry Flomo served as the Communications Director of the NEC prior to his death. He served as Assistant Secretary General of the Press Union of Liberia, President of the Sports Writers Association, an axillary of the Press Union, and worked at the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).

The Union extends its deepest condolences to family members, the journalism community, friends, and sympathizers who share in the grief caused by his death and, at the same time, requests the presence of everyone at the Headquarters of the Press Union on Clay Street at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2024, for the signing of the book of condolence.
