Boakai National Prayer Team Activated, Launches Nationwide Prayer Activities For His Gov’t Success

A group called the National Prayer Team for the Success of Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai has come to public light, announcing nationwide prayer activities in Liberia for the success of the incoming Unity Party government.

Former Vice President Boakai, who defeated incumbent President George Weah in the November 14, 2023 presidential runoff election, is slated to be inaugurated along with Vice President-elect Jeremiah Koung on January 22, 2024.

The Prayer Team, which is said to be consisting of Christians from various churches across the country, has reportedly been actively praying for peace and God’s mercy upon Liberia and its people since 2019.

Prophet Roland D. Chester, the Chairperson of the Group, emphasized that these prayers are aimed at seeking the face of God and his redemption for Liberia.

The prayer activities will take place every Friday at designated locations across all fifteen counties of Liberia according to Chester.

The General Overseer of the Divine Miracles and Deliverance Ministries, Prophet Chester, highlighted that no nation can succeed without the fear of God.

He urged the incoming officials of the Liberian government and all Liberians to prioritize their reverence for God and seek his mercy and protection.

Prophet Chester firmly believes that by placing God first in all of their activities, President-elect Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai and his incoming officials will be able to succeed as a government and lead the nation toward prosperity.

He stressed the importance of seeking God’s divine direction, guidance, and wisdom to achieve success as government and the People of Liberia

Additionally, Pastor Chester used the occasion to invite other pastors, preachers, bishops, prophets, and evangelists to join in the prayer initiative.

Their collective prayers will focus on peace, protection, mercy, and the overall success of the incoming government.

The goal is to seek God’s face, redemption, and divine guidance for the incoming government, emphasizing the significance of placing God first to achieve success as a nation.
