-Releases September and October 2019 Reports

GBARNGA, Liberia –Bong County Service Center through the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has released its progress report for the Months of September and October 2019.
In the report, the center announced the total amount of Five Hundred and Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($505,895.00) Liberian dollars plus Six Ten ($610.00) United States dollars as total revenue generated during the Month of September 2019.
Addressing a press conference on December 9, 2019 in Gbarnga, Bong County Service Center Coordinator, Jefferson Gbaryan said in the month of September, they were able to offer Services to of Five Hundred and Twenty (520) End Users in the county.
Mr. Gbaryan said out of the Five Hundred and Twenty end users Three Hundred and Six (306) are males, Two Hundred and Seven (207) are females and seven (7) Couples.
Meanwhile, the Bong County Service Center through the Liberia Revenue Authority in the Month of October generated the total revenue of Seven Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand, Four Dollars Seventy- five cent ($ 725,004.75) Liberian dollars plus One Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty ($1,260.00) United States dollars.
The center offer services to three Hundred and Eighty-Six (386) end users in the County.
Moreover, out of the 386 Two Hundred and Thirty-three (233) are male, One Hundred and Forty-One (141) are female and Twelve (12) couples.
Mr. Gbayan revealed that the Bong County Service Center in the month September and October 2019 could not continue with its regular Radio program awareness, in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kwatekeh Radio FM. This is a duly recognized entity for the purpose of creating more awareness in the County to promote the usages of the County Service Center at the District levels by means of service delivery in the County due to the lack money.
He further said during the Month September and October 2019, the Liberia Revenue Authority issued the total Flag Receipt of two Hundred and ninety-four end users, which are the total documents issued.
Meanwhile, Mr. Gbaryan reiterated that the Service Center have not being able to offered services for the ECOWAS Biometric identification, Adult Birth Certificates, Driver’s Licenses, Business Certificate, Contractors Certificate and including the Liberia Forestry Development Authority.
According to him, the issue of Utility Vehicle is one of the top priorities to help reach those places where there will be less attention by the radio. Additionally, he said the increment of salaries and benefits should be seriously considered so as to motivate the County Service Center staff in the discharged of their respective duties in the County.
The Bong County Service Center Coordinator boss said in spite of the many internal challenges, the Service Center will continuous to delivery services to the people of Bong County and its vicinities.
