President Weah Describes Her Death As Great Lost

The grounds of the Capitol building was restricted, securities assigned at the entrances as president George M. Weah led a delegation of members of the Executive to the signing of the Book of Condolence for the late Montserrado County District #9 lawmaker, Munah Pelham Youngblood.
House Speaker Bhofal Chambers of the House of Representatives led his colleagues while Senator pro Temporary Albert Toe chie and the president of the Liberian Senate, Jewel Taylor led members of the Senate for the signing of the book of condolence.
As the President signed, he walked over to members of the bereaved family looking on the showers of the mother of the late Lawmaker as he told her to take solace in the Lord. In a brief interview after he signed, President Weah said, “we just pray that her sour rest in peace.”
The Liberian leader dressed in a black clothing showing sound of mourning the death of Representative Youngblood recounted his last interaction with the late Lawmaker.
He said “the lawmaker said she was tired and wanted to rest.” According to the Liberian leader, he wrote lines in a song he released during his last interaction with late representative Youngblood.
Also speaking, acting Foreign Affairs Minister, Henry Fahnbulleh said ” she was a floor fighter. She commended her presence at wherever she went”.
The signing of the book of condolence saw an array of government officials, members of the cabinets, the Chief Justice and members of the Supreme Court Branch. The Montserrado district#9 lawmaker died on the 8th of July and is expected to be lay to rest on the 8th of August.
