FLASHBACK: Former-Chief-Justice-Gloria-Scott-Argues-In-Her-Own-Defense at the early stage of the trial
The crime scene—the residence of former Chief Gloria Musu Scott in the Brewerville Lower Virginia suburb of Monrovia where Charloe Musu was allegedly murdered last February—has been visited by both defense and prosecution Lawyers as well as officers of the Criminal Court “A” which is trying the case., as Garmah Never Lomo reports.
The recent visit to the crime scene was ordered by the Judge of the Court, Roosevelt Willie, who granted the defense team’s approval to visit the home of the former Chief Justice Scott this week.

On June 22, 2023, the former Liberian Chief Justice was sent to jail by the Monrovia City Court presided over by Magistrate Ben Barco, after she and three of her family members were charged with Murder, Criminal Conspiracy and raising false alarms in connection with the gruesome death of her daughter, Charloe Musu. According to reports, the visit enabled all members of the team along with the Sheriff and the Clerk of Court to tour the entire compound, which enabled them to observe three gates along the 10-foot perimeter. They also observed that trees and neighbourhood fences are conjoined to the fence of Cllr. Scott.
The prosecution and defense teams are said to have observed there were several doors and windows at the residence and took notes since the Judge of the criminal court “A” proffered serious restriction on camera photography and videotaping.
The trial was expected to resume at the weekend.
