Criminal Court Declares Senate Secretary, Former NIC Director Wanted

As State Prosecutors Drop Charges Against 3 Former CBL Officials

TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia- Criminal Court ‘C’ at the Temple of Justice has declared Senate Secretary Naborlor Singbe and former National Investment Commission (NIC) Executive Director, George W. Wisner and others wanted for escaping indictment and writ of arrest issued by the court.

The Court ordered the Liberian national Police to arrest and detain the individuals at any nearest police Station, if it not court working day and hour at which time you brought to court to undergo prosecution.

Criminal Court ‘C’ issued the arrest order on Friday June 26, 2020, on defendants Singbe and Wisner, following their refusal to under alleged criminal indictment and writ of arrest.

Senate Secretary Singbe, Former NIC Director Wisner and others have been charged for the crimes of Economic Sabotage, theft of property and Forgery for their alleged misusing a 5 million United States dollars meant for cruched rock business by a Chez republic investors.

The Court operates from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

In another development, State Prosecutors have dropped charges against Richard Walker, Dorbor Hagba and Joseph Dennis in line Chapter 18, section 18.1 of the Criminal procedure law of Liberia in the 16 billion Liberian dollars saga.

The request made by prosecution to drop charges against the three defendants named above was granted by Criminal Court ‘C’ Judge Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay and said request made by prosecution, the defend lawyers headed by Cllr. Johnny Momo interposed no objection.

Prior to their link to the printing of excess Liberian Dollars Bank Notes, Richard H. Walker served as director for banking, while Joseph Dennis served as director for internal audit and Dorbor Hagba served as director of finance.

Those former CBL officials and broad of left in the Cookie Jar for prosecution are Milton A. Weeks former Executive Governor, David M. Farhat, Melissa Emeh, Elsie Dossen Badio and Kollie Tampa.

The former members of the CBL Broad of Governors appeared in court Wednesday of last week where they unanimously pleaded not guilty in a loud voice.

Meanwhile, Criminal Court ‘C’ said the exception to the bond is hereby set asked to the Criminal appearance bond in favor of the co-defendants is hereby  remain valid up to the logical conclusion of this matter.
