TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia- Criminal Court ‘A’ Judge Roosevelt Willie has subpoenaed Orange and Lonestar Cell MTN to produce the call log showing calls made between Defendant Patrick Kollie and Deputy Police Inspector General for Operations, Melvin Sackor.

Judge Willie’s decision taken over the weekend came when the Lawyer representing defendant Kollie prayed the court for several Subpoena.

According to the defense lawyer, those persons are the clerk of the Monrovia City Court to produce minutes of the pretrial examination held at the court, while the clerk of Criminal Court ‘A’ to produce statement of witnesses that appeared before the grand Jury to obtain a true Bill of the indictment.

In resistance, one of Counsels for prosecution prayed the Court to deny the submission made by the defense counsel in part that says that 102 should come and testify, since in fact 102 is a government official and cannot testify or provide evidence adduced as such.

Judge Willie maintained that the upon the conclusion of Defense first witness Patrick Kollie, defendant counsel prayed the Court for several subpoena, some of the subpoena include documents or testimony from witnesses of the grand jury, document from preliminary examination conducted at the Monrovia City Court subpoena for call logs, which numbers are stated on the records to ascertain on the date and time between July 3 & 4 as to whether the defendant ever called Marvin Sackor.

He further explained that the court upon investigation of the records, the court found out that all records on the case file and upon consultation from the parties, defendant counsel conceded to the fact that these records are on the case file.

“However, as it relates to call logs from both GSM companies even though prosecution objected to this, the denied said objection and grant defendant request that the call log be subpoena from both GSM companies’ numbers,” he continued.

Judge Willie in his ruling said that the call log will enable the court to find out whether or not there was any call made between the defendant and officer Marvin Sackor on any of the dates.

He therefore, ordered the clerk to do a communication to both GSM Company submit the call log for each of the GSM company for this date as stated herein no record are to be forward to the court between today to Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
