Educator Urges Youths To Have A Clear Vision To Transform Liberia

The Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Adventist University of West Africa, Dr. Glory I. Baysah has challenged Liberian Youths particularly students to embark on a journey of success and transform Liberia.

According to Dr. Baysah, embarking on the journey of success, young people must be discipline and have a clear vision of positive change in society.

The Liberian educator believes that the road to success require vision, discipline, commitment, accepting failure and challenges, time management and moral values will better society.

She noted discipline, time, vision and commitment will add value to their existence and they grow for the betterment of their family and society.

The Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Adventist University of West Africa wants young people accept challenges and failure thereby learning from experiences at all times in the journey to success.

Serving at Keynote speaker at the 17th graduation ceremony of the Paynesville Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) High School Thursday September 29, 2022, Dr. Baysah urged graduates to be committed in every step and use their failure and challenges as a steppingstone for success.

Dr. Baysah at the same time, appeal to graduates to make positive use of their times in any giving situation and serve as agent of positive change.

In remakes, the Principal of the School Mr. Dickson K. Yorkor observed that Liberia needs qualified and competent young people to take over the helm of national and international leadership.

“You should be good ambassadors of our school by replicating the values and virtues that characterized the period of your study here, at the Paynesville SDA High School,” he said.

Mr. Yorkor however, challenged them that the virtues should be audible in their speeches and visible in their behaviors and manner of dress and lovely interactions with fellow humans.

The seventh day Adventist philosophy of education is Christ centered which believe that under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God’s character and purposes can be understood as revealed in the Bible.
