“Prince Tulay, Yours Truly” was how he signed and he signed out on his various radio shows during his journey on these earthly shores, until the cold hands of death snatched this talented Liberian broadcast Journalist on August 23, 2018.
At the young age of 43, Journalist Prince Tulay was one of the leading on air presenters at the state owned Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), before he passed off after a protracted period of illness.
Many including his professional colleagues and friends have been paying tributes to him, with some describing him as respectful with a good broadcast voice, friendly, hardworking and dedicated to duty.
The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) on Friday opened a Book of Condolence at its headquarters in central Monrovia ahead of his funeral on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
In a press statement, the PUL says it regrets the death of Journalist Tulay, who had previously been a top radio announcer at two of Monrovia’s popular radio stations—DC101 and Sky FM.
Prince Turlay started his profession as a journalist at the defunct DC 101.1; he later worked for Sky FM before joining the Liberia Broadcasting System.
During his short professional life, Turlay brought passion and humane to his strive for excellence while embracing critical analysis of his professional work with humble smiles.

Meanwhile, the Press Union of Liberia is urging all of its members, journalists, media workers and the public to turnout for the signing of a book of condolence in honor of the fallen journalist on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11: 00am.
The Turlay Family has informed the PUL that funeral service for Prince Turlay will take place on 15 September 2018 at the St. Kizito Roman Catholic Parish in Paynesville.
The funeral service for Mr. Turlay is expected to be buried in Caldwell, Montserrado County, following the funeral service on Saturday.
Press Union of Liberia, President, Charles B. Coffey, Jr. has urged all journalists, the family and the public to show up at the funeral service for the fallen Journalist.
