Bo, Sierra Leone – The Faith and Justice Network (FJN), under the leadership of its Executive Director, Dr. Tolbert Thomas Jallah, Jr. has launched the “My Future, My Values, My Impact: Young Women for Change Empowerment and Peacebuilding Camp” in Bo, Sierra Leone.

Running from August 18 to 23, the camp brings together 45 young Women and Men  from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea for an intensive program aimed at building morality, strengthening values, boosting self-esteem, and preparing them for transformational leadership in their communities.

The week-long program combines leadership training, mentorship, peacebuilding workshops, and cultural exchanges, helping participants to explore practical ways of leading change. Organizers believe that by investing in women’s self-esteem and moral leadership, the camp will strengthen community resilience and inspire inclusive development across the region.

The Faith and Justice Network has been a consistent advocate for peace, social justice, interfaith collaboration, and the empowerment of marginalized groups. Through initiatives like this camp, FJN continues to provide platforms for young people to rise as change-makers who champion justice and peace at both community and regional levels.

By the end of the camp, participants are expected to return to their countries with renewed confidence, values-driven strategies, and transformational leadership skills that will help them shape a more peaceful and just future.
