In Lofa County, Police Investigate Killing Of A Motorcyclist

VOINJAMA, Liberia- Police in Liberia’s northwestern Lofa County are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a local motorcyclist, whose lifeless remains were discovered over the weekend, as Tokpa Tarnue reports.

The discovery of the lifeless body of a popular motorcyclist identified as Orlando Ndebeh has sparked serious concern and panic.

This latest incident is the second time in less than a week that lifeless bodies have been disclosed in Lofa, thus increasing fear amongst citizens and other residents of the county.

The 22-year-old man was a resident of Tagulahun town in Wanhasa administrative district and his body was discovered on Saturday, April 9,2022

As part of police investigation, a man identified as Thomas J.  Malakpa, age 22 of Bolahun town has been arrested as suspect to the crime.

Suspect Malakpa was arrested for being in possession of the motorbike and other items belonging to the victim.

A 15-member Coroner team constituted to examine the body reported foul play after discovering multiple chopping on the victim’s head, deep cut on the back of the nick and both hands of the deceased.
