What appears to be a remarkable celebration of generosity and service, Mr. Jomah B. Samuels and Mr. Henry Williams were recognized at the State-wide Awards ceremony in Pennsylvania with “The Heart-of-A-Service International Award.”

The accolade has to do with their exceptional commitment to supporting refugees, immigrants, and those in need, showcasing their tireless efforts to make a positive difference in their respective communities.

The award ceremony was organized by the Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability (PAR), where community leaders gathered to honor individuals who demonstrate outstanding dedication to service. Mr. Samuels and Mr. Williams, both Liberians residing in the United States, were acknowledged for their unwavering spirit of kindness and their extensive contributions through the JBS Care Foundation Inc.

In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Samuels expressed heartfelt gratitude to the award committee, his family, his colleagues at Woods Services, and the dedicated staff and volunteers of the JBS Care Foundation. “I am deeply humbled by this recognition,” he stated. “It is a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone involved in our mission to serve those in need. Together, we strive to create a welcoming environment for refugees and immigrants, ensuring they have the resources and support to thrive in their new communities.”

The JBS Care Foundation, founded by Mr. Samuels, has been instrumental in providing essential services, including legal assistance, housing support, and cultural integration programs for displaced individuals. Mr. Williams, a key figure in the foundation, has been a driving force behind many initiatives aimed at uplifting these vulnerable populations.

The event attracted notable local officials and community advocates, who lauded the work of both men. “Today, we celebrate not just the achievements of Mr. Samuels and Mr. Williams but also the spirit of compassion and unity that characterizes our great state,” remarked one attendee.
