Officials Visiting Communities And Counties

The 2023 Unity Party Alliance under the Rescue Mission Team has begun its communities, districts, and Counties appreciation visits and honoring of individuals who contributed to the success of Unity Party in the just-ended elections.

The Unity Party Alliance was established in 2017 and has been working in communities, Towns, villages, and districts in all fifteen counties across Liberia encouraging Liberians to vote for the Unity Party.

The group has conducted civic and voter education and engaged in campaign activities, sensitization, Peace messages, and community initiatives among others since its establishment in 2017.

The thank you and honoring ceremony began with Pastor Roland Chester of the Divine Miracle Healing and Delivering Ministry, Dr. Teewalisens PS. Dolo II head of the  Kpelleh Union based in Jacob Town, Rehab, Jacob Town Community of Montserrado County.

Speaking on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the honoring ceremony in Paynesville City, the group Chairperson Clarence Zango Dolo said it is the group’s way of identifying with individuals and groups who contributed to the peaceful and successful elections that brought to power the Unity Party.

” It is often said that give the man his flower while he is still alive, against this backdrop, we have come as an organization in collaboration with the Unity Party to appreciate and honor communities, districts, organizations, and individuals who help personally from their pockets to support the Alliance and the Party but we are starting with Pastor Roland Chester and Dr. Teewalisens PS. Dolo II head of the Kpelleh Union” He said.

According to Mr. Folo, both Individuals and organizations contributed through prayers, morals, and financial support to the Unity Party Alliance under the Rescue Mission Team.

He maintained that electing the Unity Party headed by Ambassador Boakai was not a mistake promising the party’s commitment to live up to its promises and slogan to  “Think Liberia, Love Liberia, and together build Liberia”.

The Chairperson of the Unity Party Alliance however commended Liberians for maintaining and sustaining peace and stability of Liberia.

Receiving the honor in separate remarks, Pastor Roland Chester thanked the group for the recognition and promised to work with the team to make sure that the Unity Party was successful.

He however used the occasion to call for unity in the Christian community and challenged pastors to stand by and for the truth by speaking to power.

For his part, Dr. Dolo noted voting Unity Party was not and will never be a mistake.

Dr. Dolo promised his family and institution continued commitment to support the Unity Party describing it as the first of its kind for a party after elections to go back and appreciate individuals, community, and organizations.
