A Minister of the Christian faith, Louise A. Kolaco, a renowned Liberian gospel musician, is using her latest song to highlight the importance of unity and togetherness in the nation.

Titled, “The Flag of Liberia,” this song aims to encourage Liberians to recognize God and embrace unity as a country.

In an exclusive interview with www.newspublictrust.com ahead of the official launch of the national song on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Monrovia, Minister Kolaco revealed that the song was recorded last year during the heated election period and intended to unite Liberians despite the political differences.

She expressed that she was inspired by God Almighty to create the music to inspire Liberians to build and preserve peace and unity in their beloved nation.

Minister Kolaco firmly believes that unity is the foundation for national growth and development.

She hopes that her song, “The Flag of Liberia,” will effectively convey this message and encourage Liberians to embrace unity and peace.

Moreover, Minister Kolaco used the opportunity to uplift aspiring artists, urging them not to give up on their dreams despite the challenges they face daily.

She highlighted the need for support and unity among gospel musicians, urging pastors and the body of Christ to rally together and help promote the work of God through music.

The gospel star recognized that gospel musicians in Liberia encounter significant obstacles to success, including a lack of moral and financial support.

She shared her personal experience, stating that everything she has accomplished in her career has been through the help of her husband, who has provided financial backing for song recording, promotion, and video production.

Minister Kolaco emphasized the difficulty faced by gospel musicians in fulfilling their calling and dreams due to a lack of support and sponsorship.

To address this issue, the gospel star called on all Liberians to attend the launching program of “The Flag of Liberia” on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Harvest Intercontinental Cathedral in Monrovia.

Minister Kolaco hopes that the community will come together to support and uplift gospel musicians, recognizing their immense talent and the positive impact they can make on society.

Minister Louise A. Kolaco, who began her musical career as a teenager in Ghana, has already recorded five songs, with “The Flag of Liberia” being her latest release.

The lyrics of the song emphasize hope, proclaiming that Liberia will rise again.

Minister Kolaco considers her music career a gift and a calling from God, as she aims to minister the word of God through her songs and lead others to Him.

She concluded her statements by inviting everyone to attend the launching program, assuring them of an inspiring and uplifting musical experience that celebrates the rich culture and unity of Liberia.
