Liberian Mandingos in US launch medical, humanitarian activities @ home

The federation of Liberian Mandingos in the America (Felmuasa) has launched its medical and humanitarian missions in Liberia.

The mission, which consists of both medical and humanitarian teams, is here to treat primary health treatment and give humanitarian supplies.

Welcoming the team, CEO of the “MASHCO MEDICAL CENTER” Musa M.Sheriff said he was glad to have members of the team, using his facility noting that health is a right and as such people should always have access to basic health care services.

Speaking at the launch of the mission activities, the President of Felmuasa Mamadee B. Sesay said he was happy to see young people getting involved in volunteering with the team to give back to the people.

“To see this number of young people willing to give back to the community like we are also doing is impressive,” he added.

Mr. Sesay urged them to remain committed and look forward to having more cooperation.

Also making a statement on behalf of the Mandingo community, the president of “National Mandingo Caucus of Liberia” Sekou B. Kolleh appreciated the Felmuasa team for coming to give back to the Mandingo people and Liberians in general.

He mentioned that his institution (NMCL) is committed in giving whatever support they can in making their stay a success.

The federation of Liberian Mandingos in the America (Felmuasa) is a non for profit organization, which consists of Liberian Mandingos that is focus on medical, educational and humanitarian activities.

As part of their activities this year, the team will be visiting Monsterrado, Bong, Nimba and Lofa counties.
